Tricks to find number of pi bond

Number of  Pi -bonds  (Z):
         Z= (2A-B)/2   +1
Where,
A = number of carbon atoms
B = number of hydrogen atoms
 Z = number of Pi  -bonds (Z):
Example:   C176H250
A =    176,      B = 250,
Z= (2A-B)/2   +1
Z= 2*176-250/2 +1
Hence ,                      Z= 52
Note: This formula is applicable for simple open chain unsaturated hydrocarbon
